Description
In this special edition of Ten Minutes with Therese, the focus will be on Australian Beginner Repertoire. This will be a different structure to the other sessions, in that Therese will do a presentation of around 40 minutes discussing attractive pieces by Australian composers at the beginner level, outlining the typical problems encountered and strategies to assist. Works include Elissa Milne’s Salt and Pepper, Robert Keane’s Kangaroo Hop, Dulcie Holland’s Parade of the Possums and Sonny Chua’s Dripping Fairy.
This will be followed by 2 x 10 minute sessions with Therese, with one teacher sharing a student video, and another on combining shaping and in and out patterns in C major five finger patterns.
Ten Minutes with Therese offer a flexible access point for those who want to learn a little more about what the Taubman Approach can offer, or for those who study regularly but just have that extra question to have answered.
All participants will be given access to the video after the event to review.
