Mar 17, 6pm. Essence Series: Amazing Women 5. New music from female composers across the Pacific Rim, curated by Corrina Bonshek. Tickets $15 and $10 at the door, Ian Hanger Recital Hall, Queensland Conservatorium of Music.

March 27, Stanthorpe. Launch of the Piano Mill with world premiere by Eric Griswold for 16 pianists. Read more 

April 13, University of Southern Queensland, Toowomba, with pianist Sonya Lifschitz: The shimmering, savage and ecstatic music of Oliver Messiaen’s Visions de l’Amen played on two pianos alongside a passionate visual response by Sandy Pottinger. Book here. 

April 29/30:  Topology performs Unrepresentative Swill as part of QSO’s Current festival. 

May 3: Topology performs The Singing Politician with the Australian Voices at the Melbourne Recital Centre.

May 14 – 15 Muses Trio launch our debut CD, Spirit and the Maiden, at Boggo Road Gaol as part of the Anywhere Festival. Book here.

Aug 18, 6pm:  “Frau, love ’em & leave ’em.” Mezzo-soprano Sarah Court (NZ) and pianist Therese Milanovic present an evening featuring new art songs by contemporary Australian and NZ composers. You’ll hear translations of Korean poetry, smatterings of jazz, Impressionism, honkytonk, laments, piano-lounge, love, influences of Indonesian Keronchong and even a line about an empty shampoo bottle. World premieres by Louise Denson (AUS), Michael Vintin (NZ), also featuring works by Robert Davidson (AUS), Ben Hoadley (NAZ) and a song cycle for the new woman by Libby Larsen (USA)Ian Hanger Recital Hall, Queensland Conservatorium. 

Sep 15-17, 7pm. Muses Trio Debut CD Tour. Sound Lounge at the Seymour Centre. Cnr City Road and Cleveland St, Chippendale. Limited tickets $25-35 including groups and earlybird tickets.
